Data for: "Unveiling the unprecedented optical properties of citrate-stabilized hollow AgAu nanoshells under photothermal irradiation"

Dataset

Description

The purpose of this dataset was to compare the optical properties of hollow gold nanoshells upon photothermal irradiation at 785 nm. Extinction and surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) spectra were predominantly used to show that the optical properties blue shift, and the SERS response increased. TEM images of the irradiated samples did not show significant differences, while single particle imaging did show redistribution and or growth of silver deposits during imaging. Data from each figure can be found in dedicated spreadsheets. For example, data for the extinction spectra used to generate the Figure 1C can be found within the file "Data for Figure 1C.xlsx ." Unedited TEM images are also included as needed.
