This supplementary file contains data collected during an investigation into the antibacterial efficacy of Far-UVC light, during which the effects of experimental and bacterial variables on dose-response were investigated.
The included information relates to both experimental work and data gathered through systematised literature review. With regard to the experimental work, this includes the emission spectrum and irradiance mapped in a single plane from a Far-UVC excimer light source; and the raw and processed data relating to the Far-UVC-based inactivation of four bacterial species (Escherichia coli, Enterococcus faecium, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Staphylococcus aureus) suspended at five different cell densities (10^1, 10^2, 10^3, 10^5 and 10^7 CFU.ml^−1) in phosphate-buffered saline using increasing doses and a single irradiance of 0.62 mW.cm^−2. With regard to the systematised literature review, included are summary data for the screening and selection of publications for inclusion in the review; a summary of all information extracted from each included publication; and analysis of all extracted data.
Complete datasets contain non-confidential information. However, as some data in this file has been sourced from the work of other authors, the relevant citation information has been included within the supplementary file in all cases.
All raw data in this supplementary file was stored in Microsoft Excel (v2016). Statistical analysis was performed using Minitab (v18) software.
This data was generated and gathered with the intended use of journal publication and inclusion within a PhD thesis.
