Data for: "Ratiometric analysis using Raman spectroscopy as a powerful predictor of structural properties of fatty acids"

Description

This data was generated for the publication of a research article with the same title and analyses fatty acids using Raman spectroscopy to determine key peak ratios to allow prediction of fatty acid saturation and chain length and uses the model (compared with a multivariate model) to measure these characteristics in food oil samples. Raman data was taken using a Renishaw inVia system with Renishaw Wire 4.1 software and is provided in .wdf format and .spc format as raw data. MATLAB scripts used to carry out data processing are provided.
