The pragmatic evaluation aimed to determine the effects of participating in a school-based Active Play intervention on school day physical activity and fundamental movement skills. The time spent in MVPA during the session was also analysed and compared to a comparison groups PE session. There are four main files of relevance:
• Demographics
• School day physical activity
• FMS
• Active Play and PE
These excel files should be self-explanatory; for ease intervention and comparison groups have been presented separately and any variables are described in each excel file. Where required, comments have been added to variables on the excel documents to provide further explanation. For example, for gender a ‘1’ is Male and a ‘2’ is Female.
