Data for: "Plasmonic and Photothermal Properties of Silica-Capped Gold Nanoparticle Aggregates"

Dataset

Description

The purpose of this dataset was to compare the photothermal properties of similar nanostructures when irradiated using an excitation of 785 nm and evaluate how the process of heating alters their optical and physical properties. Dynamic light scattering was carried out before heating, and extinction and surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) measurements before and after heating, in order to confirm that the structures were stable following heating. Data from each figure can be found in raw form in the corresponding Excel spreadsheet. For example, data for figure 1 in the article is contained within the ‘figure1data.xlsx’ spreadsheet. Data within the files are labelled according to the characterisation method.
