Displacement datasets from experiments 1 and 2 from the paper 'On the delay-and-sum processing of shear wave signals from a scanning thermo-elastic laser ultrasound system.'

This dataset contains surface displacement data recorded as functions of time and location by a laser interferometer, for the purposes of studying the characteristics of laser ultrasound shear vertical wave signals (see the associated paper for more details).

The file 'displacement_data.npz' contains displacement measurements from experiments 1 and 2 described in the article.

The file is in the zipped archive NumPy .npz file format (docs: https://numpy.org/doc/stable/reference/generated/numpy.savez.html).

The data arrays stored in the .npz file may be loaded into a Python session through the use of the NumPy numpy.load() function (docs: https://numpy.org/doc/stable/reference/generated/numpy.load.html).
