Description
This dataset contains data captured using an Arduino UNO microcontroller, connected to an Adafruit GPS PA1616D and Adafruit BNO055 sensors. The data was captured using the StrathVoyager ASV catamaran platform during three experimental scenarios, during calm conditions in inland waters.
The three experimental scenarios were as follows.
Scenario_B1: Uniform motion with constant velocity, minimal external disturbances.
Scenario_B2: Uniform circular motion with constant speed and rate of turn. Introduction of a simple manoeuvre.
Scenario_B3: “Free ride” – dynamic movements. Simulation of real-world navigational challenges.
