Data for: "Mott-insulating phases of the Bose-Hubbard model on quasi-one-dimensional ladder lattices"

Dataset

Description

Dataset and code used to generate the figures shown in the paper "Mott-insulating phases of the Bose-Hubbard model on quasi-one-dimensional ladder lattices". The data showcased in each plot is thus described in the main paper that this dataset is accompanying.

The folder "plot_codes" contains the python and Julia codes used to create the plots and obtain some additional data. The codes in this folder are using functions written in ED_ladder.py (for python scripts) and in julia_functions.jl (for Julia scripts). The scripts are named accordingly as plot_figX.jl / plot_figX.py.

The folder "data" contains the relevant data that would be used to plot the figures in the main paper, all accordingly named "figX_..." followed by relevant information of their content. They come in .csv, .npz and .jld2.

All the data can be created from scratch using the script "singlepoint_code.jl" as a starting point. It uses tensor network to calculate the MPS representation of the ground state wave function, followed by other relevant information such as energy gap, compressibility and correlations. The result accepts the following inputs: length of ladder, population filling, Hamiltonian parameters (which also define the geometry of the ladder). All these data would then be stored on an .h5 file, from which they can be extracted and reworked with.
