Data for MARGOT: Motif-based pARtitioning of Graphs with OrienTed edges

Dataset

Description

This is an efficient C++ software for partitioning directed networks based on their Motif Adjacency Matrices (MAM).

MARGOT enables the partition of networks with up to 5M nodes on classic laptops. Moreover, 142 different structures can be used to build the MAMs, as a whole or by differenciating roles played by nodes within those structures.

Use-cases are illustrated within the folders AnalysisOfCitation and AnalysisOfFoodweb, to illustrate how to use MARGOT on concrete applications, and what can be expected from it.
