Description

The dataset presented here corresponds to the experimental data reported in the manuscript "Iodine-stabilized VECSEL at 689 nm with 3×10⁻¹³ stability", reporting the development of a high stability, sub-10 kHz linewidth 689 nm AlGaInP-based VECSEL when locked exclusively to molecular iodine transitions for neutral strontium-based quantum technologies. The data was exported in csv format.

It includes the data for:
> Fig. 2a: sub-Doppler spectrum of molecular iodine at around the second cooling transition of Strontium-88;
> Fig. 2b: error signal derived from the spectroscopy signal;
> Fig. 3a: relative intensity noise performance;
> Fig. 3b: frequency noise power spectrum density;
> Fig. 3c: estimated integrated linewidths (1000 s sampling time);
> Fig. 4a: heterodyne beat note measurement between the iodine-locked and a cavity-stabilized monolithic VECSEL;
> Fig. 4b: Allan deviation of the iodine-locked VECSEL; and
> Fig. 5: Beat frequency variation of cavity- and iodine-locked VECSEL.
