Description
This dataset was created and used to complete the doctoral thesis titled 'How best can ground source heat pumps be deployed in a public sector context?' This consists of:
- a dynamic energy simulation model of a residential tower block.
- horizontal and vertical ground loop designs to meet the energy demand of the residential tower block using ground source heat pumps.
Virtual Environment (VE) software was used to create the dynamic energy simulation model. A license can be obtained from Integrated Environmental Solutions. Ground Loop Design (GLD) software was used to create the heat pump system models. A license can be obtained from Gaia Geothermal.
