This data set comprises one Excel file. This contains experimental measurement data of the piezoelectric stimulus (in nanometres), and consequent mosquito ear mechanosensory neuron motion measured by atomic force microscope (in nanometres) and compound action potentials (as a voltage). These files were all created for the purpose of analysing the active in vivo motility of mechanosensory neurons in the ear of the mosquito Toxorhynchites brevipalpis.
