Description
This dataset contains the data sets used in Chapter 7 of the Thesis titled "Exploring the Application of Ultrasonic Phased Arrays for Industrial Process Analysis". These data can be processed using the software described in Chapters 2, 5 and 6.
The following files have been uploaded:
- noninvasiveFRDs.bin contains 100 Full Matrix Capture frames acquired of a dynamic bubble column of air bubbles rising to the surface of water via a 10 mm thick Perspex non-invasive layer.
- invasiveFRDs.bin contains 100 Full Matrix Capture frames acquired of a dynamic bubble column of air bubbles rising through water, where the probe is in direct contact with the process.
- DynBubCol_PhotoScale.jpg contains a photograph of the dynamic bubble column system with a grid positioned behind the image scene, this is required for the photographic pixel size calibration.
- DynBubCol_PhotoSample[1-5].jpg contain five photographic sample replicates of the dynamic bubble column. These were used to verify the bubble size distribution estimated via ultrasonic image acquisition.
