This supplementary file contains the data collected during investigation of the antimicrobial efficacy and energy efficiency of low irradiance 405-nm light for bacterial inactivation.
The file contains 405-nm light irradiance data which was recorded using a radiant optical power meter and photodiode detector, and was collected for the purposes of providing an optical characterization profile of the 405-nm light systems employed during this investigation. The file additionally contains the datasets collected from exposing up to six hospital-associated bacterial pathogens seeded at various densities on both surfaces (~10^1-10^8 CFU/plate) and in liquid suspension (~10^3-10^9 CFU/mL) to 405-nm light at various irradiances. This data was collected to provide a comparison of bacterial inactivation kinetics upon exposure to a fixed dose of 405-nm light using different light delivery methods.
Complete datasets contain non-confidential information.
The raw data presented within this file was stored in Microsoft Excel and statistical analysis of the data was performed using Minitab statistical software.
This data was generated with intended use for both journal publication and inclusion in a PhD thesis.
