Data for: "Effect of particle size on hydration of calcium silicate hydrate"

Dataset

Description

This data set comprises all the experimental results on the project: "Effect of silica particle size on the hydration of calcium silicate hydrate".
Samples of calcium silicate hydrate (CSH) are prepared using either silica fume (SF) or nano-silica (NS) at different calcium to silicate ratio (0.81 molar and 2.4 molar). Experiments are thermal analysis, such as heat of hydration, calorimetry, Raman, X-Ray analysis (XRD), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). Results are organised in MS Excel files and workbooks. Samples are denoted according the acronyms above reported for each technique used.

Two year moratorium on access has been applied as data supports a Doctoral Thesis. Moratorium end date: 04.06.2020.
An extension for a further three years has been requested on this data. The Moratorium on this thesis will now expire on 4th June 2023
