Data for: "Design of a new fast tool positioning system and systematic study on its positioning stability"

Description

The data included in this dataset is the positioning errors of a novel positioning system. The system is aimed at manufacturing ultra-precision freeform surfaces.
The aims of this research is to found out the influencing factors that contribute to the positioning errors. A series of positioning tests are conducted to verify the new design approach and error analysis method.

The data is in MATLAB format and can be imported by the MATLAB software.

The data named sys_para is the controller PID gains used in the experiments;
sys_wg, sys_ws and sys_wi are the measured disturbance spectrums.
The data in the folder Paper1 is the measured positioning following errors under different conditions as acquired by the controller.
The data are use to plot the graphs in the paper named "Design of a new fast tool positioning system and systematic study on its positioning stability"
