Data for: "Assessing the Ability of Electrified Domestic Heating in the UK to Provide Unplanned, Short-Term Responsive Demand"

Dataset

Description

This data set features the simulated energy performance of 1068 dwellings, representative of the UK housing stock. The data from the simulations was used to determine the response of the stock to requests for heating load variation.

The 4GB dataset includes:
- Source code and build instructions for the ESP-r simulation tool that was used in the simulation of the housing stock.

- All housing models and supporting data built for the paper (ASCII).

- Supporting scripts (Python & bash) used to run the multiple ESP-r simulations of the housing models and extract the data used to generate the results reported in the paper.

- The results sets generated for the paper (binary and ASCII).

All simulations (ESP-r and scripts) were run on Linux Ubuntu 20.04 LTS layer, running under Windows 10.
