Description
These data are from a series of trials carried out for Appleby's EngD research. They consist of two series of trials: A and B.
The data is in the form of national instruments .tdms files. They are supplemented by eplanatory .tdms-index and .txt files, and written notes.
Series A consists of 4 tests, recorded with contact accelerometers. Series B and C consist of 7 and 5 tests respectively, recorded with a microphone.
Series B was used as the basis of the paper "A Novel Methodology For In-Process Monitoring Of Flow Forming" published in the proceedings of ESAFORM 2017.
The data are accompanied by handwritten notes explicating the activity in the trials.
