The workshop focused on setting the foundations for a sustainable, long-term science and technology partnership between Turkey and the UK on offshore wind and wave energy. It aimed to enhance economic development in Turkey and contribute to the social welfare of its citizens by drawing on the UK experience to develop options for new technologies that deliver sustainable and effordable renewable energy options.
