This event, taking place 8–12 November 2025 in Huairou Science City, Beijing, marks the inaugural forum in the CASFIS-SIPTA Youth-Led International Symposium Series under the UK–China collaboration framework. It is co-organised by the SIPTA Alliance—a strategic partnership between the University of Strathclyde, Imperial College London, Peking University, and Tsinghua University—alongside several CAS institutes. Future may rotate hosts and expand to additional universities and partners based on evolving themes.
A New Forum for a Sustainable Future
The "Voices of the Future" Forum opens a platform for a long-term collaboration across different areas. It is designed to empower early-career researchers (ECRs) to tackle global sustainability challenges through interdisciplinary, systems-based approaches. Anchored in engineering and energy systems, the forum purposefully connects these fields with health, society, and policy to foster holistic solutions.
