The TILTED Research Group includes research and teaching staff from Moray House School of Education and Sport as well as international researchers. We are brought together by our interest in ensuring that (future) language teachers develop professional knowledge around the different ways in which one’s identity is constructed and how those ways may create sites of privilege and marginalisation. We believe that embedding an intersectionality perspective in the language teacher education curriculum could be a powerful and sustainable way of supporting teachers and creating inclusive practices.
