Description
Training and support was delivered to 7 Glasgow Museum volunteers on the processes and methods for the digitisation and summarisation of audio recordings. Guidelines and help pages were created and distributed to the volunteers who were then met individually with each being taught how to do the necessary tasks. This initial training was followed up with ongoing support. As a consequence the 7 individuals successfully learned new skills which they used to generate new data. This data was later uploaded to Glasgow Museums, Collections Navigator database to be accessed by future researchers.Period | Apr 2010 → Oct 2011 |
