Chair: Tectonic Studies Group The Tectonic Studies Group (TSG) has acted as a forum for discussion of research in structural geology and tectonics since the early 1970s. It has the status of a specialist group affiliated to the Geological Society of London, but has no formal membership. TSG aims to foster research in tectonics and structural geology by: •supporting the careers of postgraduate students and early career researchers in the field,•fostering international links and partnerships through joint meetings and field trips, •raising the profile of the disciplines of structural geology and tectonics.TSG membership consists of anyone who is interested in structural geology and tectonics. There is no formal membership list. All are welcome to attend meetings and to propose and organize events such as conferences, workshops and field excursions. Annual meeting attendees come from across the UK, Europe and the world.
