Activity: Talk or presentation typesInvited talk

Description

Maximising reductions in CO2 emissions and making the transition to Net Zero using sustainable energy sources is essential for the wellbeing of our people and planet. For changes to be made, commercial reality must be balanced with the impact on people, planet and prosperity.

This event will discuss the engineering perspective on the realities, barriers, and opportunities faced in moving to a sustainable energy future. Through discussion and facilitated workshops, an outline road map will be built including timescales and key roadblocks to overcome. This will be taken forward to policy and decision makers for action.
