Strath-Wide is a one-day conference which aims to bring together researchers from all disciplines to share their research and find out what other researchers are doing across the University. The conference will also provide opportunities to network with other research staff, keynote talks and prizes for the best presentations and posters.
Abstracts for oral or poster presentations are now open! The abstract are grouped according to the University's strategic themes:
Health and Wellbeing
Ocean, Air and Space
Advanced Manufacturing and Materials
Energy
Society and Policy
Innovation and Entrepreneurship
Measurement Science and Enabling Technologies

Conference Date: 6th June 2018
Conference Venue: Strathclyde Business School, 199 Cathedral Street
Abstract Submission deadline (extended): 31st March 2018
Notification of acceptance: 28th April 2018
Registration: Now open! Please register here before the 29th May 2018
Registration Fee: £10 (includes: lunch, and refreshments throughout the day).
Early career researchers (postdocs and last year PhD students) are especially encouraged to apply!

1. Please prepare your abstract using the StrathWide Abstract Template
2. Name your abstract document following the format: [StrategicThemeCode]-[FamilyName].docx
The Strategic themes codes are:
HAW - Health and Wellbeing
OAS - Ocean, Air and Apce
AMM - Advanced Manufacturing and Materials
ENG - Energy
SAP - Social and Policy
IAE - Innovation and Entrepreneuirship
MET - Measurement Science and Enabling Technologies
For exampel an abstract for the Energy theme from John Smith should be named "Eng-Smith.docx"
