Description

Scottish Crucible is an award-winning leadership and development programme for early career academics as well as experienced research staff who are ready to make the transition to an academic position.

This session will provide information about the Scottish Crucible programme and how Strathclyde’s application process works. Previous participants will also discuss their experiences of the programme and how it has helped support their careers.



The deadline for Scottish Crucible 2017 applications will be early February 2017 , during the session we will outline the Strathclyde application process and provide guidelines on writing a successful application.

By the end of this workshop participants will:

Understand what the Scottish Crucible programme is and how it can support their development
Have heard from previous Strathclyde Crucibilists
Be aware of the Strathclyde application process
Have considered what is needed for a successful application to Scottish Crucible
