SPIRAL - Considering your Career Options

Description

This full-day workshop will explore possible both academic and non-academic career paths available to research staff. During the workshop participants will consider what is involved in an academic career and how to progress to the next stage. They will also have an opportunity to assess their current skills and how they can use these to progress their careers.

By the end of the workshop participants will:

Be aware of possible career paths available to them
Have considered the roles an academic takes on throughout their career
Be aware of the routes to progression to take the next step in an academic career
Have assessed the skills they currently have those they need to develop to progress in their chosen careers
