SGSSS Workshop: When Methods Meet Part 1: Surveys and Citizen Juries. This was a morning session of a workshop titled When Methods Meet. Our session was on Citizen Juries vs. Surveys, and essentially explored the two research methods, and whether/how they can be used together (the additionality that this gains, and also the challenges it poses). A mini-CJ and survey exercise was completed during the workshop which successfully explored some of these issues/the potential of mixed methods. There were 24 attendees at our workshop, working in a range of social and political science subjects and institutions around Scotland and the EU. The workshop was filmed for an online video resource.
