Dr Nixon has been the National Clinical Lead for the Scottish Sarcoma Network(SSN) (2015 to 2021), and a member of SSN since 2013. In this role she worked with all key stakeholders, including Goverment third sector, patients and carers, and academia to improve the care for patients across Scotland through quality improvement, research and clinical innovations.
