Description
Independent, impartial forensic consultancy work in the areas of Forensic Biology (Bodyfluid analysis, Blood Pattern Analysis, DNA analysis, Hairs) and Gunshot Residue.Local, National and International high profile cases, including Murders, Sexual Offences, Miscarriages of Justice, International Crimes Against Humanity, Terrorism. Clients include the UK Government, International Criminal Court and the Scottish Judiciary.
All cases are highly confidential - our involvement, details of the case and our findings are embargoed until at least post trial. SIFRS do not own the Intellectual property rights of the content, the client does.
Outputs of cases are usually in the form of verbal advice, written court reports and verbal testimony. The latter two become public record during the trial process.
