Description
The Scottish Crucible is a series of workshops ("Labs") which are run annually, and aims to bring together Scottish-based researchers from a variety of different academic disciplines to help "participants discover skills and attitudes likely to make their research more innovative" and to develop a "greater understanding of how science can benefit society and how thinking creatively can really make a difference to their work and career". Selection for the programme is competitive.
