Scientific Dragon – The Impact Factor, Centre for Human Specific Research

Participation as the Scientific Dragon in The Impact Factor, a Dragon’s Den-style research funding competition organised by the Centre for Human Specific Research as part of the launch of its Scottish Regional Community. The activity involved reviewing and assessing shortlisted research proposals focused on advancing human-specific and animal-free approaches to biomedical research, and questioning applicants during live pitches. The role contributed to evaluating scientific merit, originality, feasibility, and potential impact, supporting the selection of projects for regional research funding.
