This event is meant to bring together researchers from different fields and stakeholders with an interest in initiating new projects and developing research proposals related to the topic of Social Acceptance, Engagement and Benefits of Low-Carbon initiatives. The sandpit will provide an opportunity for networking, identifying research gaps in the field, and exploring different ideas and approaches.

The core team leading the event would like to develop a research programme from this discussion, which will be taken forward in a BA ECRN-funded writing retreat in the end of May for developing an international funding call. There are limited spaces for this writing retreat, and for this reason we will use the sandpit to form strong collaborations and request expressions of interest.
