Description

Roundtable purpose:
To facilitate discussion amongst experts around the key factors that have potential to control the wider economic and distributional outcomes of domestic heat decarbonisation. This will help CEP shape scenarios to be explored in the economic modelling as the project develops. Discussion will focus on how the cost of different fuels (notably electricity and different types of gas) will evolve relative to one another and what policy levers could be used to affect pricing structures and outcomes more generally.
