Description
The Risk & Uncertainty Conference Amsterdam is the follow up of the successful meeting in Cambridge UK in June 2017. How to manage (uncertain) risks is important for e.g. the acceptance of new technologies. The aim of the conference is to stimulate high-quality international research on risk & uncertainty communication, and to inform and support policy in this field with the latest evidence-based approaches, for example in communicating to the general public about issues involving risks and uncertainties. This year’s topic is Contested Facts: how to communicate with the public and other stakeholders about controversial issues where competing information exists about risks and uncertainties.
