    The authors will be reading from new work and having a discussion/Q&A on topics such as collaboration, ecology and infinity.

    Ian Macartney works with words, sounds, pixels and other people. Previous publications include The Infinite Fury and other stories (Strange Region), sun-drunk (Stewed Rhubarb) and Shale Bings (Broken Sleep Books). In 2023 his monologue for screen, Thomas, premiered at the Haus für Poesie's ZEBRA Festival. He can be found online at ianmacartney.scot, but for how much longer?

    Maria Sledmere is the author of over twenty creative publications, including Cinders (Krupskaya, 2024), An Aura of Plasma Around the Sun (Hem Press, 2023), Cocoa & Nothing (with Colin Herd, SPAM Press, 2023), Visions & Feed (HVTN Press, 2022) and The Luna Erratum (Dostoyevsky Wannabe, 2021). With Rhian Williams, she co-edited the anthology the weird folds: everyday poems from the anthropocene (Dostoyevsky Wannabe, 2020). She lectures in English & Creative Writing at the University of Strathclyde and is managing editor of SPAM Press. Her next publication, Midsummer Song (Hypercritique) is forthcoming from NoUP Press.
