Description

Dr Luce and I presented evidence on media reporting of suicide, particularly the use of guidelines and monitoring media content. Their invitation was a direct result of my involvement in writing the National Union of Journalists’ guidelines on media reporting of suicide and mental health issues. The committee’s questions focussed on journalists’ implementation of guidelines in their daily reporting.
