Description

PNDC's knowledge exchange forum drew 44 attendees, representing 16 external companies and the University of Strathclyde, both in person and remotely, to discuss key OT utility and infrastructure security topics. We welcomed representatives from SPEN, UKPN, SSEN, Dell, Analog Devices, Fundamentals Ltd, Siemens, Fujitsu, ScottishPower Renewables, JRC, SmartNetZero, Chronos, Hitachi Energy, Deltaflare, Cyntegra, and the University of Strathclyde.

The forum covered various important areas relevant to the OT utility sector and critical infrastructure, focusing on their associated security challenges and solutions, including: The Energy Transition and Spectrum Access; Securing the Virtual Edge in OT Power Networks; Interoperable Demand-Side Response; Virtualization of Digital Substations for a Smarter, Greener, and Securer Grid; Partial Discharge Detection in Substations via UAV-based Monitoring; and DSbD and AI for enhanced Digital Security.
