2015 50th Anniversary Conference At the 2015 Conference, Thursday 26th to Sunday 29th March, PESGB celebrated 50 years and reflected on the past, present and future of the Society. Keynote speakers for 2015 included: Catherine Elgin (Harvard University) - 'The Ends of Education' Bob Davis (University of Glasgow) - 'Education and the Outdoors' Gayatri Spivak (Columbia University) - 'Uncoercive Rearrangements of Desire' Panel Session: 'Education Without Why' featuring David Aldridge (Oxford Brookes) 'CS Lewis, Heidegger, the Tao and technology', David Lewin (Liverpool Hope) 'Education without how: the paradox of educational interventions', and Anna Strhan (Kent) 'Enchanting rationalities? Faith, reason and the ends of education'.
