Funded by the Wellcome Trust and in collaboration with the University of Leeds and University of Birmingham, the event aimed to explore keys topics at the intersection of medical science, disability and culture. During the event, a dialogue was established between scholars working in the Arts and Humanities and Health Sviences, medical practitioners, and those involved in disability advocacy and community work. Sarah presented her thoughts on the unique and lifelong relationship between patient and prosthetist.
