National Physical Laboratory: Celebrating Science Using Bionanotherapeutics analytics to guide the development of next-generation medicines

In the era of precision medicine, the discovery of new biomolecular targets has driven the development of a new generation of chemistries and consequently therapeutic molecules and drug delivery modalities in academia and the pharmaceutical industry. In this talk- using case studies- I will be discussing the two competing aspects of product quality measurements versus biological performance in developing analytical methodologies for new complex medicines. This talk will also cover some of the challenges faced and emerging opportunities for the analytical and measurement sciences community in delivering the next generation of therapeutic molecules to the clinic.
