Description

I created and delivered a one day course on multilevel modelling, on behalf of the SMART consultancy unit here at the University of Strathclyde, for psychology postgraduate students based here in the Humanities & Social Sciences department at Strathclyde. The course taught about experimental design concepts and the assumptions of multilevel modelling, analysing data sets with multilevel modelling techniques using SPSS and R/RStudio software, interpreting relevant output from software, writing up and justifying modelling procedures and presenting results for academic paper purposes and discussing relevant issues that researchers can encounter with multilevel modelling such as sample size calculations, mean centering and standardising variables and missing data and imputation methods.
