We are pleased to announce a research funding workshop for researchers interested in applying for Medical Research Council funding. Dr Richard Evans from the MRC will be updating participants on the Council’s priorities, grant schemes, including opportunities for multi-disciplinary collaboration, assessment procedures as well as new developments. This will be followed by a Q&A session involving grant assessment panel members and grant awardees, and a brief presentation from our colleagues in RKES on what support they can provide during the application stage.Dr Evans will also be available for one to one sessions with researchers who would like to discuss their imminent proposals or potential projects with him. If you are interested in meeting Dr Evans to discuss an application please email a project outline (up to two A4 pages, including a summary of the study, and if possible, co-investigator profile, preliminary costings and intended grant board/panel) to [email protected] before 9th January.
