Science engagement activity for Primary 3/4 pupils at Lennox Primary in West Dunbartonshire in the form of an interactive workshop to teach the children the basics of cell biology. Each child presented on the role of cell organelles and then were given the opportunity to design their own cell out of sweets and jelly moulds in the shape of a cell. The children where then split into teams to discuss the importance of cells in the body and imagine possible roles for their cells. Each group then presented their designer cell to the rest of the class and tell the rest of the class the role of their cell in the body.
