Keeping 1.5 Alive. Mobilising student action through placements in city and region for climate emergency and climate justice

Activity: Public Engagement and OutreachPublic Events

Description

In this decade of change, we all need to take action to tackle climate change and to deliver a just transition. This work is complex and challenging. Universities and our students, across disciplines, can help share the load and enable the transition. The event will seek to engage with public, private, third sector organisations and community groups that are tackling climate change and social justice, with a focus on Glasgow City and Region.

It will offer participants insight into how Strathclyde students can support them in achieving their net-zero, sustainability, climate and social justice ambitions.
