Description
I was invited to talk to a delegation from Austria. They were invited to Scotland by ENABLE Scotland to learn more about Scotland's progress around the rights of people with learning disabilities. The group included:• The Tyrol Minister for Social Affairs, one person from her cabinet, one financial expert from the office of the Tyrol “Landeshauptmann”, two people from the communication department
• Three participants from Lebenshilfe Tyrol, the service provider who is deinstitutionalizing their housing services during the next 5 years and two from the Tyrol umbrella organization of the service providers
• Franz Wolfmayr
The talk I gave covered our work on learning disabilities since 2020. I also explained the Fraser as an organisation and how we relate to the University and to Government.
