Description
Organised the International Maritime Human Factors Symposium (IMHFS) 2024 as part of the Maritime Human Factors Centre (MHFC). Held at the IMO headquarters in London, the event attracted over 47 speakers and more than 160 attendees from both industry and academia. Delivered a thought-provoking presentation titled "Decoding HFs: What Incident Data Reveals through SHIELD Analysis" in the Safety Learning Session, challenging conventional views on "human error" in maritime accidents and advocating for a more balanced approach to safety analysis—one that recognises humans as a system’s core strength and critical enabler of resilience.Period | 28 Nov 2024 → 29 Nov 2024 |
