Description

The ADR and Justice Symposium brings together ADR scholars from across the globe to discuss ADR’s contribution to access to justice. The presenters are invited to critically evaluate ADR’s contribution to access to justice in the resolution of disputes and in particular, to consider the extent to which ADR has contributed to improved access to justice. Rather than focus on the history of the development of ADR, scholars identify specific areas in which ADR and Justice have or have not coalesced to improve societal wellbeing.
