Description
Designing inclusive assessment is essential to ensure we are accurately assessing students’ achievement of learning outcomes. However, assessment by its very design is exclusive - establishing who can demonstrate the learning outcomes and those who cannot yet demonstrate those outcomes. This talk highlights how research on inclusive assessment design can inform assessment design in a cyber security context to support development of assessments which are both authentic and valid, whilst remaining inclusive. Alongside highlighting research in this area, strategies for embedding inclusivity into computing assessment design is also discussed.Period | 4 Nov 2024 |
