Description
The festival is an opportunity to connect with fellow researchers and discuss a range of impact related topics. Primarily aimed at staff from the Universities of Edinburgh, Glasgow, Heriot-Watt, St Andrews, and Strathclyde, the festival takes place over one day with plenaries in the morning and break-out sessions in the afternoon. The plenary speakers share their first-hand insight and experience about the commercialisation of research, working with industry, and engaging with policy. The break-out sessions, which are a mix of ‘lecture’ and ‘workshop’ style, offer learning and teaching on specific impact related areas.
